All Clean Carpet in Reno Nevada wants to give you some pointers on how to care for your Rug in your home in Reno.
Make sure rugs are exposed to light and air, this will help with moths.
Vacuum at least once a month where furniture sits on top of rug
Check underside of rug periodically for moth larvae or holes
If moth are detected, check other wool rugs and clothes for damage (moth spread quickly).
Then take rugs in for professional mothproofing and/or repair of moth holes.

The following 4 solutions are best for cleaning spots at home. Use a white absorbent cloth:
1.Detergent Solution: 1-teaspoon dishwashing detergent to 1/2 pint of warm water.
2.Detergent/Vinegar solution: add 1 teaspoon of white vinegar to detergent solution.
3.Ammonia Solution: 1 tablespoon of household ammonia to one cup of warm water.
4.Dry Cleaning Solvent: Test the solution on a small, inconspicuous area, then work form the outer edge of the stain toward the center.

Alcohol/Wine: Absorb as much as possible with a rag. Use Detergent/Vinegar solution. Work from the outer edge of the stain using a little at a time and blotting with dry cloth.
Coffee/Tea: Absorb as much as possible with a rag. Use Detergent solution and follow with vinegar. Work from the outer edge of the stain using a little at a time and blotting with dry cloth.
Grease: Scrape up with a blunt knife. Use dry-cleaning solvent followed by detergent/vinegar solution. Blot dry.
Liquid Foods: Blot up the surplus spillage. Use Detergent solution and follow with vinegar. Work from the outer edge of the stain using a little at a time and blotting with dry cloth.
Urine: After absorbing as much as possible with a rag, blot with Club Soda to help neutralize the acidic nature of urine. Then take your rug to be professionally cleaned.
